Kinect Studio is here. It is our new digital business card creator: a profile builder that gives you much more control over how your team's profiles look. The profile shows whenever someone scans a digital business card or taps an NFC business card.
What is Kinect Studio?
Kinect Studio is Kinect Card's digital business card profile builder. It is a Kinect Pro feature, and we call it "the most advanced digital business card profile builder we have ever created".
You can edit over 160 elements, and a theme builder lets you set up profiles that represent your brand. If you want a custom digital business card that matches the rest of your company's materials, this is where you build it.
Why we built it
We revamped our main software last December, and Kinect Digital launched recently. Kinect Studio is the next step: a digital business card builder that gives you more control over how every profile looks.
Key features of our digital business card creator
Hero image sizing and positioning
The hero image now runs full-bleed, edge to edge across the top of the profile. You can zoom and drag the image to position it, so the most important part of the photo stays in view. You can also add a custom gradient over the top.
Customisable avatar
You can align the avatar left, right or centre, depending on the layout you want. You can also set its size and add a border in your brand colour.
Custom fonts
Kinect Studio supports custom fonts, so your profiles can use the same type as your website and printed materials. You can set the font size for name, job title and company name separately. That gives you finer control over digital business card design.
Skills & Services on employee profiles
You can add Skills & Services to employee profiles. They are unique per employee, so each person can show the skills and services that relate to their own role. You can display them as a stack or as an animated slider.
Layered card format
Profiles can use a layered card format with rounded corners. The corner rounding is adjustable in the editor.
CTA button animations
Call-to-action buttons on the profile can now be animated. Movement draws the eye, so the action you want a new contact to take is easier to spot.
Redirect after save, with UTM tracking
With Kinect Studio, you can now redirect a prospect's browser after they have downloaded your details. Once they save your contact, they see a short "Redirecting you" screen and then land on a URL you choose. For marketers, this links face-to-face networking to the next step, whether that is a landing page, a Calendly booking link or a review page.
You can add UTM tracking to the destination URL, with source, medium and campaign. Visits and conversions on that page can then be attributed to Kinect Card, so you can see what each digital business card share leads to.
One profile for every scan and tap
The same Kinect Studio profile shows whether someone scans a digital business card or taps an NFC business card. That is true across our range: PVC, Eco Bamboo and laser-engraved metal NFC business cards, plus Apple and Google Wallet digital business cards for your team. Whether a colleague shares a digital business card from Apple Wallet or hands over a metal card, the contact sees the same branded profile.
For teams and bulk buyers, profiles are centrally managed by a company admin. Kinect Card is ISO 27001 certified and used by 8000+ networkers.
