Can employees manage their data?
Yes — if you enable the employee portal, each person can log in and update their own details. You control who has access and can toggle it on or off at any time.
What can I share?
Each employee profile can include name, job title, email, LinkedIn, mobile, direct dial, and a profile photo. Every field is optional — only what's filled in will display on their card.
How can I create employees?
Add employees one at a time using the setup wizard, bulk upload via CSV for larger teams, or connect your HR system via Zapier for fully automated onboarding.
What if an employee leaves?
Archive or delete the employee from your dashboard instantly. Their card is deactivated and the physical NFC card can be reassigned to their replacement — no new card required.
Is employee data safe?
Yes. Kinect is accredited to ISO 27001:2022 — an independently audited information security management standard. Your employee data is hosted in Europe and protected to the highest standard.

A lightweight, mobile-optimised portal where employees can update their own profile details and check their lead activity — separate from the main admin dashboard.
Bulk access or individuals - you decide
Roll it out to your whole team or selected individuals — your call. Access can be toggled on or off for any employee in a single click from the admin dashboard.
How can they access this?
Employees access the portal via a magic link sent to their email — no password required, no app to download. They click the link and they're in.
Is there a mobile app?
There's no standalone app right now, but the portal is fully mobile optimised — employees can update their details from any device, anywhere.

Yes. Any change you make to an employee's profile in the dashboard updates their card in real time. No reprints, no delays — just open the record, make the edit, and save.
Yes, if you grant them access to the employee portal. You control who has access centrally — it can be enabled for your whole team or specific individuals, and toggled off at any time.
On an employee level you can share a person's name, email, job title, linkedIn, mobile, direct dial, profile picture and any custom links.
No not at all, Kinect Card is fully dynamic, so if you don't have a direct dial, just leave it empty and it won't display. You can always add these things later too.
