Assigning assets to a team
A team in Kinect is the bridge between your assets and your employees. Assign your assets to a team, add employees to that team, and every card is built automatically. Whether you're managing one office or fifty, the structure scales with you.
Creating a team
Create a team, assign your assets to it, then add your employees. Kinect merges the asset data with each person's individual details to populate their card automatically — no manual setup per employee.
How many teams can I have?
Pro and digital plan customers get unlimited teams. NFC-only customers can manage one team. Upgrading to Pro unlocks the full multi-team structure.
Do I need multiple teams?
Not necessarily. If you have one brand and one office location, a single team covers everyone. Multiple teams become useful when different groups need different branding, locations, or lead forms.
Is multiple teams a pro feature?
Yes — multiple teams is a Pro feature. All Pro and digital plan customers get unlimited teams. NFC-only plans include one team to get you started.
Do I really need a team?
Even if you're a solo user, you still have a team — it's just a team of one. It's simply how Kinect structures your card behind the scenes. You don't need to manage it differently.
Can I update this when needed?
