e.g. you pay £56.67 and get 200 cards — that's per person, so we multiply it by your team size for the true total. All figures here are ex VAT, so this and our own prices compare like for like — only paid the VAT-inclusive price? Divide by 1.2 first.
Every new starter, leaver, or job title change means another batch with your current cards. A 15% turnover across 5 people is 0.8 extra batches a year (£42.50). Kinect updates instantly, free, no reprint needed.

How we calculate your savings
We start with what you're already paying: your batch cost per person, divided by the number of cards in that batch, multiplied by your team size. Then we factor in staff turnover — every new starter, leaver, or job title change means another reprint on traditional cards, so we add that as extra batches per year based on the turnover rate you set. That gives us your true current annual spend, including the hidden cost of reprints.
We then compare that to a one-time Kinect Card cost per person, which never needs reprinting — every update happens instantly and free through the dashboard. The difference is what you save immediately, and the projected saving shown for every year after that.
Questions on the ROI calculator
No — it's an estimate based on the figures you enter. Actual savings depend on your real reorder frequency and team changes.
The NFC Card Only comparison shown is the one-time card cost. If you choose NFC Card + Pro or a Digital plan, subscription costs are factored in separately — see our pricing page here
Use the slider to set your own turnover rate — the default is just a starting estimate.
Because printed card costs and reorder frequency vary a lot by supplier — using your real numbers gives an accurate comparison rather than a misleading industry average
