Image Optimisation Guide

Using the correct image sizes helps your digital business cards load faster and display correctly across all devices.

Below are the recommended image dimensions for each area of the Kinect Card platform.

Employee Profile Image (Avatar)

Used when creating an employee via the Employee Setup Wizard.

Recommended format:

• Size: 1000px × 1000px
  
• Max file size: 10MB
  
• File type: JPG or PNG
  
• Shape: Square
  

💡 Tip: Use a clear head-and-shoulders photo for best results.

Theme Banner / Wallpaper Image

Used when creating a theme under Assets → Themes.

This image appears at the top of each digital business card profile.

Recommended format:

• Size: 400px (W) × 200px (H)
  
• Max file size: 10MB
  
• File type: JPG or PNG
  
• Shape: Wide banner
  

💡 Tip: Keep text away from the edges to avoid cropping on different devices.

3️⃣ Digital Pass Logo

Used within Themes for digital wallet passes.

Recommended format:

• Size: 200px × 200px
  
• Max file size: 1MB
  
• File type: JPG or PNG
  
• Shape: Square
  

💡 Tip: A simple logo with a transparent background works best.

You can easily resize and optimise images using free or low-cost design tools:
